TXLaptop or Desktop at exam centers in UK

Is it possible to contact exam centre and ask them this question? I know someone on forum could answer but they will only be able to tell you their individual experience with exam centre. For instance, it's possible they could use both laptops or desktops or that they have different computers from those they had in previous sittings. Hope this helps.
