General ACCAKaplan vs BPP for F7 & F8 SELF STUDY

HHamad10y ago
Hello all, I know this question has been asked and debated many times but it was answered mostly by people who used either BPP or Kaplan but not both. My question is addressed for those who used both BPP or Kaplan for self study. Which one do you think is better for self study. By better I mean gives you clear, logical explanation in a short and sweet way and provides you with a better assistance to pass (ie Mock exams, online resources, pass notes). I'm planning to sit F7 & F8 in March thus it would be greatly appreciated if the answer can be specific around these two papers. If not, any help is welcomed. Thank you in advance.

Hi I was wondering about the same question. I have finally decided to buy Kaplan for F7 and BPP for F8 so that I can make up my own opinion on both materials and then use the best for professional papers afterwards.

Finallly I'm going with BPP for both, F7 and F8. I have come across some .pdf versions of F7/F8 from Kaplan and BPP, and I have noticed that BPP is more like a real text book with as it contains full sentences and paragraphs, and Kaplan is an extended version of study notes (no or few paragraphs but short sentences and plenty of hyphens lists). If you like reading and getting the background explanations, in my view BPP would be the one to choose but if you prefer having short and easy sentences, Kaplan is for you.
