Failed at 40 I think that intrapreneurship question is the main reason I failed this exam it is about 38 marks Anyone who cleared the exam just give me some tips and techniques that will help me to pass in the next attempt… Congratulations who clear and becoming an ACCA affiliate

Hello, Sorry you did not pass the June 25 SBL. This June paper was not an easy one for me as well but I did manage to answer all questions some how. I remember I was drafting the very last section of the last section when the time was up. Also I followed the sequence of the paper I meant q1 then q2 and q3. Also there was one whole question that I didn’t know anything about really (I think I was about change contextual framework and intraprenuership 38 marks) but just followed common sense from the exhibit to write something! So questions like this just try to construct some asnwer around the exhibit and you will get some marks! I passed the paper first time! Good luck ?

I came here and vented about that intraprenuership q and it haunted me for 6 weeks!!! God is good I made it with 61%!!! Shucks man, time to apply for membership. Congratulations guys! Sorry if it didn't work out - I also relied on common sense specifically for that q , I couldn't quite follow what it was asking me! Most of this common sense I had learnt via Hassan Dossani revision classes and exam drafting practice. It was vigorous and we did SO MANY past papers. This is the only paper I didn't self study. Worth looking into if you can.

Sorry to hear you did not pass SBL, I know the feeling as I failed first time taking this paper and got 47%. I just passed SBL with 73% second time around. I would say the difference for me was understanding the models from the syllabus and using them as a template to answer to questions. But not replying upon them. The most important part was using the information given on the day and making value add points with pros and cons etc. Using common sense and business acumen will also take you far and help pick up easy marks. Do not over analyse the pre seen otherwise you will have too many preconceived points to make. Read it, get familiar with it and be ready on the day reference the pre seen. You get more marks for using information from the information given on the day. Timing is important, so do lots of exam practise especially on the online platform as that will ensure you are used to the exam environment. Hope that helps.

This is my 3rd fail in this exam, and its also my last one. Dont know what I am doing wrong. Any advise would help.

I have failed this exam four times and I have nailed this on the 5th time. I have read one of the article and I have finally understood what has gone wrong for me. One of the key for this exam is that there are no specific answers for most of the questions, just try your best to address the questions and apply the professional skills mentioned in each question. You still need to revise more about the models as you may need it, but more importantly practise the exam questions more. Hope this little bit helps, and all the best!

congratulations on passing this one :) Well done and thank you for your advise - I will try to use it in September :)

Hi, can you please let me know what article are you referring to?
JJustin1y ago#10
I have tried to find that article but I can't find it, maybe because I have taken the exam in 2022 and now it no longer exists. The way to tackle the exam is to understand what the question and the professional skills require, no need to be fear of wrong answers.

Hey, Congratulations! Just wanted to ask aswell as using Kashif Kamran and Hassan Dossani - did you use kaplan or BPP to study too?

Hi mate, Can you please tell me where did you find the videos.

I just used OpenTuition, Kaplan books and ACCA exam kit. I would not recommend the Hassan Dossani top 25 it’s not giving you proper detailed coverage but helps you to know what points to choose. I would recommend looking at the case study when it’s released and get yourself familiar with it… this will save you time on the exam plus get used to the formats. I passed but most were just write as much as you can think of.
