82% - I genuinely had to re-read it again and again as I thought I'd failed :D Good luck everyone!

69% first attempt, still can’t believe. This paper was very hard. Finally done with my exams. Good luck everyone and remember hard work always pays off, never give up!
SSAS3y ago#3
91% - I truly am grateful :)
LLee3y ago#4
59% first attempt. I honestly have no clue how I passed this and I am expecting a follow up message to say they made a mistake
DDiana3y ago#5
Failed 46%. I was sure that I would pass...(((
SSeongkyu3y ago#6
50% at first attempt. Thank you so much Opentuition! It was my first professional level paper, so I have no idea if I was good or bad at exam. I just follow the method in your revision lecture. my next paper should be AFM. Thank you! see you!

Wow, i got 49 and failed by 1 mark. This is extremely unbelievable ?. At professional level failing anybody by such extreme margin should be totally banned. At any other level, I totally understand but at professional level we have come a long way already and marginal fail is nothing but just sets us back unnecessarily. This is where ACCA need to exercise their judgement and think about the results ?

59% pass. This was my first resit so feels the best of them all. To anyone who failed, stick with it, you will get there, go again harder and more determined. We are all on our own journey, but we all know the struggle in achieving our goals, and for that, we are all in this together.

70% at first attempt. I was preparing for the exam and planning my wedding at the same time! I though that this exam I need to retake due to not enough time to prepare, but I am glad that I have passed. And also my wedding was amazing :)

AAnanya3y ago#15
Hi, congrats on your result Could you please share some tips on how you studied for the paper? TIA.
Ddaniel3y ago#16
pass 65% - watched all Opentution vides, watch the videos and then write notes which are the exact same as the video (not ideal), then use BPP practice questions. I also reccommend listening to Tom Clendon's podcast as he discusses alot of topics and you can listen whilst on a run or on the commute.

Passed SBR on 3rd attempt. My last paper AAA will self study through open tuition, Kaplan
BBarbs3y ago#18
Watch mostly the revision lectures, exam approach is always emphasised and how to get the professional marks. Thank you open tuition!

I suspect I made up for some gaps in my technical knowledge with the Ethics question and the Current issue discussion. Also try not to leave any part of any question unanswered. Even one relevant sentence could be worth 1 mark, which could be the difference between 49 and 50.
DDella3y ago#20
Passed with 54%, so thrilled as I had convinced myself I had failed! Amazing results here, anyone with over 70% is clearly a genius!! Congratulations.
LLee3y ago#21
I definitely think my technical knowledge was weak but the ethics and sustainability questions must have carried me through. It makes no sense that I passed this paper based on how I felt in the exam about ny knowledge

Pass 51% on 1st attempt … I thought I’d fail to be honest this exam was hard! But I am very pleased especially as I had a baby of 3 months old ! And took and passed SBL in December session being 8 months pregnant on 1st attempt too … moving to the beast AAA! Good luck everyone !
LLee3y ago#23
I understand failing at 49% is rough but I assume they had already used judgement etc to get to that point anyway As for bumping anyone with 49 to 50, would that not make everyone aim for 49 as you were getting bumped to 50? That would be making the pass rate essentially 49 and then people at 48 could have the same gripe, why am I failing at 48 when 49 is a pass? I should be bumped to 49.

To think this was the first paper I found sooo difficult and still scored 61. I had a resit for Advanced taxation and SBL whose paper I didn’t find difficult but passed SBR at first attempt ,I am grateful to God. Any tips from me? Yes! For the SBR, attempt every question, if you don’t know it just state the requirement of the standard and the measurement and match it to the scenerio! Good luck guys!
RRoss3y ago#25
Passed with 63%! I did not answer 21 marks worth of Q1 due to poor time management so I am genuinely amazed. AFM in Dec then I'm done.
NNompumelelo3y ago#26
Passed with 53% on the 3rd attempt .. I used open tuition notes and answered most of the practise questions on the practise plartform.
Hhandingo3y ago#27
Finally passed after numerous attempts 50%
LLong3y ago#28
