I have passed 11 papers. My second sitting for SBL. Scores of 45 and 43. I was very confident of passing this time but could not. I really don't know what is going wrong. It's disappointing in a way to fail a paper which doesn't require much hard work. I have passed SBR and AFM in my first sitting and these two papers required much more hard work than SBL. I don't know which category to put SBL into. I have given 6 months to it , though it does not require much work.and all that too without a job. Really frustrating! Next, I am planning to appear for APM in September. Then , I will go back to SBL as the last.

This is my final paper, but I got a fail of 46. I am so disappointed. Before the release of result, I am quite confidently that I will get a pass. I don’t know what is going wrong. I know there are some changes for the Sep exam. I hope the questions won’t be more difficult! ?

69% pass. Solely using OT lectures. Thanks.

I am the one who failed too, however big time 37 marks. It was supposed to be my last exam, after 4 exemptions, I cleared all other 8 papers in the first attempt by a significant margin (never below 61) in a period of 20 months basically I took one exam every 3 months. Such an awkward feeling knowing that I need to take this exam again. Honestly, I found the subject pretty boring, shorty after the June exam I was aware of some of the mistakes I made but I thought it would be enough to pass. This really sucks

Passed with a 70% which was way out of my expectation as I relied on only YouTube videos as my study resource and simple notes from my friends cuz the books are expensive :b but anyway a pass is a pass ?

Passed with 57 marks in SBL after multiple attempts. This is what I did to pass. 1. Watched the top 25 revision video by Sir hassan dosani. Also covered some areas where I felt weak by reading OT notes. 2. I picked a few past papers and was kept practising. I didn't use any revision kit/ textbook. Just keep practising using past papers. 3. Right after practising past papers, I immediately read examiner's report. This helps a lot to understand on what the marker is looking for and also the mistakes to avoid. So please read it. 4. I watched some, but not all webinars by sir hassan dosani. Followed some of his tips. Also watched some OT lectures for certain areas. 5. Keep practising the past papers under timed condition. May be not all but at least some part of it. 6. ****The most important one****** In exam, allocate time according to the given marks and please move on to next question once time is up, do not stay at the same question, yes you will feel that you got lots of points to write, but you have to be very strict with time management. So please move on to attempt other questions. I made mistakes of not keeping up to time management in my previous attempts as well. This exam is mostly about time management rather than what you know. Yes having some knowledge is important, but you don't need lots of it. So don't waste your time by keep reading and covering the chapters. Dont do the same mistakes that i did. Just read the important ones and the rest you will learn it from past papers practice. Hope this helps for those who failed, I know how it feels like, but don't worry just limit your resources and stick to the plan. You definitely will pass in your SBL exam. Just keep practising and most importantly believe in yourself that you are going to pass in your next attempt for sure. Thank you Open tuition for the helpful resources. It helps a lot. :-)

Exactly the same as me, did you do the CBE?
JJoe3y ago#20
Did you do the CBE?
OOnasis3y ago#21
I failed with 43 marks. The first question in the exam threw me off, it carried so many marks and I didn't have enough information to write. I tried to claw back some marks in the other questions but the damage was already done.
SSaifullah3y ago#22
Congrats !!!! You have made it possible.
MMouli3y ago#23
Please focus more on solving questions on CBE practice platform rather than studying text. Solve at least 3 past papers under timed conditions before the exam. Hope this will work. All the very best!!
