Hi Tutor,
I am struggling to understand on how I need to pass this paper, as it is more theory based, which requires a lot of time to understand the topic.
I am currently reading through Procedures which involves Audit of Receivables, Inventory, Liabilities, Bank and Cash, Tangible non-current assets ; Would these topics need to be answered in the exam line by line as per the study text?
Also, I have not completed reading 4 Chapters, nor have I started looking at the past papers.
My aim is to cover all the content by next week, and tackle couple of questions. I am aware that I 3.5 weeks left to complete this.
What would you advise?
They don’t have to be answered line-by-line and the appropriate ones might be affected by the question scenario. However, the procedures in the text will provide good ideas for any answer.
What do you mean ‘tackle couple of questions’? Question practice is the key to this exam.
What I mean is that I am using the ACCA Exam Kit questions to practice answering the topics, rather than answering most of the questions from the ACCA Complete Text.
I was just asking if it is realistic if I can complete studying the context and revise within the 3.5 weeks.
Use the kit for questions, not the text.
Your time-scale might work. It depends how many hours/day you can do. If nearly full time, ok.
