Hi sir, for June 2014 exam question 1a) for the deficiency stating the following

“Department heads are meant to arrange for annual leave cover so that overtime sheets are authorized on a timely basis; however, this has not always happened. If overtime sheets are authorized late, then this can lead to employee dissatisfaction as it will delay payment of the overtime worked”

For the test of control with regards to this deficiency, can I state the following ?

During the annual leave period, the payroll clerk should monitor whether the overtime sheets are authorized and submitted on a timely basis. If they are, means arrangements have been made for a suitable cover.
