Sir in the above questions, in J18 examiner has grossed up total dividend remittance required i.e dividend remitted currently + increase in dividend remittance required. On the other hand, in J13 Q4 c, examiner has just grossed up the increase in dividend remittance required
Why treatment of both of these questions is different?
Ask the Tutor ACCA AFM
J18 Q3 a ii and J13 Q4 c

4y ago#2Sorry - I did reply but for some reason my reply seems to have disappeared :-(
The reason is simply because of what the question asked for. One question asked for the the total whereas the other just asked for the increase.
