Hypothetical Question:
In case I am not happy with a grade I have achieved in one of my papers (which contribute towards the grade of the OB degree), will I be able to forfeit it and sit the exam again?Or does the first grade I receive for a particular paper count automatically towards the degree and there is no chance of improving it by sitting again the specific exam?

Here is something from the ACCA website that would be of your help.
“Can I re-sit an exam that I have already passed?
Students are not permitted to re-sit examinations which they have already passed with ACCA.However, once you have achieved Affiliate/Member status, you can apply to re-sit examinations.” You can know more about this here

So, unfortunately if you are not an Affiliate/Member you cannot resit an exam. You may have to wait till you become an Affiliate/Member.
