Is accountant in business all about Accountancy?

I need to know if Account in business deals with the functions of an accountant or it is more about business theories.

Have a look at the syllabus and our notes. It is certainly much more than the functions of an accountant. It sets out a very broad, rather shallow introduction to a wide range of topics that accountants should know something about.
