Hi Could you please help open tuition chapter 7 exp 8 b) 4.20 p.a came from where and how Cost of debt = 10% Thanks

4.20 is the coupon rate of 6%, less tax at 30%. There is no point at all in using the lecture notes without watching the lectures (I work through the examples in the lectures, and explain and expand on them). The lecture notes are precisely that - lecture notes. If you are not able to watch the lectures for any reason then you must buy a Study Text from one of the ACCA approved publishers and study from that.
