Good day!
I don’t see “Integrated accounting systems” in the chapter for CIMA Notes P1? will it be included into P1 exam in 2016?
Kind regards,
Bayan
August 8, 2016 at 7:56 pm #332091Hi Bayan,
Thank you for your question. The topic of integrated accounting systems is not part of the current CIMA P1 syllabus.
Therefore – there will be no questions on this area in the P1 objective test exam.Full syllabus details can be found via CIMA website.
Kindest Regards,

If you mean does the syllabus 2015 still apply in 2016 then yes that is correct. The CIMA syllabus usually updates every 5 years
August 14, 2016 at 2:25 pm #333108Hi Bayan
Yes -I can confirm CIMA changed their syllabus in 2015 (at the same time as they moved from paper exams to computerised).
This syllabus is expected to remain current for 5 years and so will be the basis for exam content for 2016 until 2020.Kind Regards
CathSeptember 29, 2016 at 11:09 am #342041My question regarding the syllabus has just been partially answered , thank you.
Your study material was very helpful for my E1 object test but I was using it together with the Kaplan text book as well as the exam kit. For P1 and F1 I am planning to use Open Tuition study lectures and the CIMA Aptitude ONE and TWO. So I was wondering if that will be sufficient? The only syllabus I could find on the CIMA website is only the one for 2015.Thank you again for this great initiative. Keep it up!
October 1, 2016 at 3:22 pm #342176Hi, Im glad you have found Open Tuition resources helpful to date.
You should be aware that the pass rates for F1 and P1 are much lower than for E1 so on average students are finding these subjects more difficult. Therefore, you should be prepared to put in equal or additional efforts to pass P1 and F1.
Our lectures in conjunction with notes are very comprehensive – but an exam kit from an approved publisher such as Kaplan is recommended for question practice.
The current syllabus for CIMA is 2015 version. This is expected to remain in place until 2020. There is no 2016 version – the current one for your exams this year will be the one written in 2015.
Hope that explains ok. - AuthorPosts
