Hi sir,
Do intangible resources such as patent, brand, trade mark, customer list, dominate name and copy right belong to intangible assets? I think since they are not separable and some of them are internally generated, they do not belong to intangible asset, am I right?
No, you’re not totally correct.
IF they are internally generated, then you are correct.
But you seem to ignore the possibility that they are acquired through purchase rather than through internal generation.
When they are acquired by purchase, then they certainly do belong in intangible assets
