The share cost is to be considered in the following order in calculation of Capital gain.
First :- Price for Purchase on the same day If not
Then :- purchase rate within the 30 days of the sale If not
From the share pool
My Concern :-
If the shares are sold on a day where individual got some bonus issue, what will be the cost basis ? is it Zero ?
