imposed style budgeting

The term used in the exam is not 'imposed style budgeting', instead the exam calls it 'top-down budgeting'. As I explain in my free lectures, top-down budgeting does not involve individual managers preparing their own budgets and so they cannot prepare budgets that make them look good but make other managers look bad.
