Hi chris,
Q1: wanted to know your opinion on valuation of player registration vs players registration rights.. is it the same?
Q2: I attempted 2014 bpp mock and there was a question called colly and co regarding the valuation. The link is this: https://www.coursehero.com/file/17884084/P7-Q/
i Q&A with me right now… it says that since players are not a homogenous product then it is impossible to apply a specific market value to each but it only have MV at the time they are bought and sold.. so my question, will be be having MV when registration is a right?Q3: it also says that the agents fees and signin on fees are porbably ongoing business costs and so is not a directly attributable cost which should eb excluded. BUT i look at PWC IFRS below https://www.pwc.com/gx/en/audit-services/ifrs/publications/ifrs-9/accounting-for-typical-transactions-in-the-football-industry.pdf it says agents fees are direct and should be added..
also, ive done one question also in sbr called scramble… says that agents fees are part of the cost of bringin the asset to use..

What is this contradictory thing? Should i just forget about seeing any past year papers from 2014 and only look at the papers from 2015 onwards? - AuthorPosts
