IA dept/ internal auditors

IA are company employees and must do anything mamagement tells them to. Designing and implementing controls are normal parts of their jobs. Preparing FS less usual, but they often get involved in year-end stock takes. Further involvement would compromise their independence, but if told to do so they might do so.
