As I went through the examiner’s answer, for some question two 2 marks per point was given but some other questions only 1 mark per point was given. How do we decide this during the exam.
If you assume 1 mark a point – then any that earn you 2 marks are a bonus. Most of the marking schemes say “UP TO to 2 marks” – so I think you are still looking at making one point per sentence to score 1 mark. There might be some really good points that relatively few candidates make – so anyone who makes it gets 2 marks – but for the most part it will be 1 mark per point.
