Dear Sir,
In SBL exam, I understand that the answer must link to scenario and general theory will not be marked. This is also clearly stated in Examiner report.
However, in pass exam answer, I can see that there are still general theory, after that it is the link to exhibit.
For example, Specimen 3c require “An analysis of the current culture of Nehby and an assessment of how the culture may need to change to align with the strategic aims of a venture capitalist and external shareholders.”
The answer structure :
1. General theory/explanation about culture : story, symbols, control sys,…
2. Current culture of Nehby
3. Future culture of NehbyI wonder that will I be marked for 1.General theory/explanation or not ?
If not, Can I ignore it and start the answer from 2 & 3 ?Thank you so much.
October 23, 2021 at 1:03 pm #638899You will have seen that the ACCA’s answers are often much longer than would ever be possible for a candidate to write in the time available. They are comprehensive so that they can also supply you with some teaching about theory.
As you say, repeating theory does not attract marks, so, in your answer, leave out 1 and start at 2, then 3.
