Hi,
Being new to F6, I need to seek advice on how I can find the study texts that are most relevant and helpful for preparing my local variant version of F6 (Singapore). Would the study resources available online mainly about UK tax law?
thank you!

I’m from Singapore as well. What I did was to buy the Singapore tax workbook and study the relevant chapters. You could do that, and/or get the study kit from a SAA student. Alternatively, you could buy some notes from students taking ACCA classes at SAA/FTMS/Kaplan. Mr Goh Sher Wee’s notes are really good. Good luck!

June 14, 2016 at 2:57 am #322848hi Ben thanks for your suggestion! I’ve just bought one text book from Bras Brasa secondhand book store. It was published by Kaplan but unfortunately in 2013. I also bought a brand new revision kit from London school of business and finance, and this is for this year. I have been using the Kaplan study text for a few days and found the 2012 budget is mentioned very frequently. I’m not sure what’s the implication of studying with this outdated text.
