    Hi,

Can you advice me regarding how many points to be written as per marks allocated.

For example.. 12 Marks = How many points to write?

In June 2012, I wrote 1 point for 1 mark and at the end I could not complete the whole exam paper.

    Thank you..

It depends on the question asked. If you were simply required to identify issues then one mark per point is probably accurate. However, P3 does no usually ask for simple identification and usually you have yo appraise/evaluate the points you make. In general for P3, probably two marks per point is probably more accurate: 1 mark to identify an issue; another mark to explain its implications.

    Dear Gromit,
What is your opinion on the amount and/or points of writings? Writing more about fewer things or writing less about many things, which will carry more marks?

No easy answer. I would err on explaining a few things properly rather than dashing about all over the place in a superficial manner.
