    Hello,

Do you think it is ‘doable’ to take F4, F5 and F6 in June 2013?

It took me 3 months to pass F1, F2 and F3.

I’d appreciate your opinion on this.

    I’m quite new to this.

    Thanks,
    Aleksandra

It depends on the individual actually, depends on how much effort you are willing to put in.
If you are studying full time I would say go for it, 3 papers are fairly standard for a f/time student.

F6 is bigger than people estimate thanks to the joy of the UK tax system…

If you put the hours in then it could be possible… I wouldnt personally!!

It may have taken you 3 months to pass the knowledge papers, but have you acquired a firm grasp of accounting basics? The knowledge papers give you the basics of accounting, and the fundamental papers build on this. If you rushed the knowledge papers, it’s likely you will find F5 really hard – you don’t want to be at that stage asking what absorption costing is.

It is definitely doable if you study full-time or are working in accountancy. If it becomes too much, make sure you concentrate on a single paper or two to make sure you pass some of them.

Thank you very much for your response.
I wouldn’t say I did rush it. I think I understand the basis quite well. I scored 76% on the F2 exam.
I have a lot of time to spare, most afternoons and the weekends. I think this is what I am going to do Daniel. Take 3 and concentrate on 2 if it becomes too much.
    Many thanks,
    Aleksandra
