Yeah…I failed too. But these stats tell me that ACCA is not for everybody. That until F Level you can make it if you dedicate time and effort, but P-Level is only acheivable for a very minority of the students… May be time to consider if I should stay and keep trying, but trust me, I’ve been fully dedicated to P4 during 3 months and only get 45

    Essentials

    P1 – Governance, Risk and Ethics 49

    P2 – Corporate Reporting 51

    P3 – Business Analysis 49

    Options

    P4 – Advanced Financial Management 33

    P5 – Advanced Performance Management 30

    P6 – Advanced Taxation 34

    P7 – Advanced Audit and Assurance 31

Yes, the P level papers are indeed very challenging especially the options. However despite the published pass rates, there are still a number of students that have consistently out performed those rates like the students here on open tuition.

It’s only 5 marks that is stopping you from passing P4. You are nearly there so please do not give up just now!! Give it a try again using a different strategy and focus on how to get that extra five marks and you will be laughing come April when March results are released.

    Good Luck

What xolile has written is very correct.

The ACCA exams do get more challenging at the higher levels as is only to be expected, and as is the same in university exams when moving to higher degrees.

P-level is essentially at the Masters Level. Hence you have to put in the effort to get over that hurdle. When I did the exams the pass rates were not much different, yet I always managed to be in that pass percentage. Don’t give up, you can do it.
