So today I passed SBR and now I need to decide how to proceed. I had thought I had failed and was ready to give up ACCA but since I passed I will continue.

Is there anywhere I can find info on the options. I don’t work in Tax or Audit so should I just forget about these 2 and do the other ones. Or would it be worth looking at doing Tax as it is a subject that would interest me?

If you look at the getting started / intro section of the resources pages for each option on acca’s students’ page you should find something like “why choose this option”. If you can’t see it I can try and find you the links tomorrow.

    Hi Kim

    I found this

    https://www.accaglobal.com/gb/en/student/sa/study-skills/options-choices.html

I had exemptions from the Applied Skills so its not really much use to me but might help someone else

If you look at APM intro page – for example – https://www.accaglobal.com/gb/en/student/exam-support-resources/professional-exams-study-resources/p5/introduction.html

You will see a section “Get ready for APM: free self check quizzes” – those quizzes have been specifically designed to cover the assumed knowledge and the skills of the exams for which you have exemption – you might want to dip into those to see if you want to do APM – and similarly AFM. You’ll find the same for AAA (but not for ATX). You don’t have to be “in audit” to do AAA – but you would have to be interested in it.
