Sir in question 1 (a) we were asked identify key suceess factor to which i wrote
LOW PRICE –
HiLite’s competitive advantage is built on its highly competitive pricing strategy, HiLite normally attracts those travellers seeking ‘no frills’ accommodation, at a reasonable price and as such, the customer are pretty price sensitive.DOUBT (1) – the above factor and the explanation was found completley in the extract i havent added anything of my own so would i get any marks ?
DOUBT (2) – i have dentified a key sucess factor so shouldnt i get marks since what more could i write about LOW PRICE?
1 Just repeating text from a question will not normally attract marks. This question seems to be looking for Porter’s Diamond:
“key factors which have enabled HiLite to be successful in its home country of Deeland”
because it mentions the country.
However, different approaches are given credit.
A low price does not of itself create success…..it has to be accompanied by adequate and dependable quality.
