    Hi,

I am looking to sit AAA as my first Professional paper in June 2019, the reason I have chosen this paper to sit first is due to some personal commitments around June exam time. However I have noticed the first line in the OT notes is ‘Do not even think of studying this paper if you haven’t already studied paper Strategic Business
    Reporting (SBR)/Corporate Reporting (P2).’.

Can you please advise on how I can overcome this as I do need to sit this paper in June.

    Thanks

Download our SBR notes for reference when “revising” accounting standards (see Chapter 14). You should expect to have to study any accounting standards that you have not previously encountered in FR (F7) – for example IAS 19.

You will start to see when you come to exam style and standard question practice that although a sound knowledge and understanding of IFRSs in FA and FR should go a long way to helping you in AAA, you should be prepared to tackle any SBR examinable documents (excluding exposure drafts) from an auditing perspective.
