Hi sir,
Am not clear with the issue here
“One of Foo & Co’s audit managers, Bob Halen, is being interviewed for the role of financial controller at Grohl Co. Bob is a good candidate for the position, as he developed good knowledge of Grohl Co’s business when he was managing the audit”
Is the audit manager are asked to join a client and he also working in the audit firm?
Bob is currently employed by the audit firm.
He is being interviewed and described as a candidate.
From this and the other information (“role of financial controller at Grohl”) you really should be able to infer that the company is looking to recruit someone and Bob has applied for the position.
So he will leave the audit firm and join the audit client
Or
He will handla both in same time?
Clearly only the first is a possibility – but it depends on whether Grohl offers him the job (he might not be the best candidate) and if he accepts it (!)
He cannot be employed by both – you are possibly confusing the scenario with temporary secondment to and audit client – which would be an altogether different situation.
