what are the features of a good group bonus scheme:
1. individual effort is recognised and rewarded.
2. bonuses reflect length of employment and position
3. lower admin costs compared to individual bonus scheme
4. increased co-operation between workers.
Why are you attempting questions for which you do not have the answer – you should be using a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers (they have answers and explanations).
1 and 2 are not correct – a group scheme is calculated on the performance of the group and not on the performance or length of service of individuals.
3 is correct because it is just one calculation for the whole group instead of a calculation for each individual
4 is correct because it encourages all the workers to help each other so as for the whole group to get the bonus
