Dear John,
I am just wondering how ACCA correcting answers where we need to state the result in decimal places
I had my answer such as for example 3.12 and correct answer was 3.11
Would my answer considered wrong?
It was marked as wrong on CBE specimen exam…. 🙁
Thanks very much,
Kind regards,
Katalin
It depends on the question – it is impossible to give a general rule.
Given that your answer and the correct answer are both to two decimal places, it suggests that you rounded the answer wrongly. But again it is impossible to say more without seeing the actual question.
