I got a question regarding the GAAP and BIM.
The profits shown in a set of accounts drawn up in accordance with UK GAAP will only coincidentally yield the required figure [for tax purposes]” quote from the Business Income Manual (HM Revenue and Customs manual) BIM 35030.
Discuss why this is the case.
Does anybody have any idea???
