General ACCAFR/SBR on the same day

KKelly4y ago
I sadly failed FR with 49% in the June sitting. As I was so close (and had already booked SBR) I decided to take both FR and SBR in the September window. It hurt my brain! I think I messed up FR and I think that SBR went okay... but who knows with SBR. So my question is, what happens if I pass SBR but fail FR? Will this break the system? Will my SBR result be void as you must pass the F papers before the P papers? Any help would be appreciated - thank you

Don't worry - you only have to ENTER for any outstanding skills exams in order to register for a strategic professional exam. (You don't have to pass - or even sit it!) There is no "voiding" of exam results (except in cases of misconduct). Each exam result is determined quite independently of any other exam result.

Hi Kim, That’s great to hear thank you! I tend to sit one exam per sitting but as I was so close last time, I thought I could do both. It’s tough and I wouldn’t recommend two in one day for anyone else considering it. Thanks again for your support

You're very welcome! (In "my day" - we were allowed to sit exams only once a year - in June or December - and we sat an entire "level" of 5 exam am/pm/am/pm/am over 3 consecutive days .... still scarred by the memories of it!)

Just in case anyone is interested - I passed both :) Once again a big thank you to OT for providing support and lectures to students! I know I couldn’t do it without you guys!
