General ACCAFR - March 2023 session

Hi all, The lectures and guides from this forum has so far proven to be an excellent tool in exam preparation. Considering this, I am planning on using the lectures and guides for the upcoming FR exam. However, I plan on using a study kit which is only valid until June 2019. My question is - are there any major changes in the syllabus? Is it ok to proceed with this study kit? I understand that newer kits are issued for a reason, but I also used older kit for FM, and had no troubles with it. Appreciate your answers. Thank you,

FM and PM have relatively static syllabi. The syllabi for FR and AA have external drivers - legislation, regulations, professional bodies, etc. A four-year old kit will have discrepancies that are likely to waste your time resolving. For more question practice than is available in the CBE practice platform you need a current edition kit.

You can get a 20% discount off BPP books here https://opentuition.com/20-discount-bpp-books You should also consider that FR is the foundation for SBR, which will be less of a challenge if your knowledge of FR is as up-to-date as possible.
