Hello! I’m quite new here, so I decided to forfeit an exemption( I have already emailed last week). Which means I havent paid the exemption fee, so I have to answer F1 next week, since I didnt pay for the exemption fee can I still answer my F1 or am I supposed to wait until they email me back? If so how long should I wait since I can’t wait for months..( I want to finish my course quick that’s why)
I haven’t heard of any instances of ACCA refusing a student’s request to forfeit exemptions.
However, if you’re waiting on confirmation of your initial registration, I’m not sure that you should be a sitting a first exam yet.
My advice is that you contact ACCA directly https://forms.accaglobal.com/contact-us
I want to forfeit the exemption since I have already answered the subject and got a great score too! But since there’s debt of exemption fee I was wondering if I can continue answering Part 1 subjects or I am supposed to pay the debt of the fee even though I am forfeiting it, thank you so much for your advice!
A student who forfeits an exemption will pay the exam fee instead I.e. not as well.
Again, I recommend you ask ACCA directly. That’s what their contact us service is there for.
Thank you!!
You’re welcome. Feel free to come back to this post and add any information confirmed by ACCA, for the benefit of other students who may have similar queries.
