Hello!
One PER and the ethics modules are completed, how do we proceed with the membership? Should we wait for an email or apply somewhere?
October 19, 2020 at 11:22 am #590409Does anyone know the best time to apply for membership. Do we have to pay full membership fees and affiliate fees this year?
October 19, 2020 at 11:22 am #590410@anupolromeoh I think you should find a link to apply in you myACCA account. If you cant find it, you probably should send an email to ACCA

Thank you. However, I am confused in terms of the timing of the fees. I have just received the Affiliate status and I would like to move forward to membership as I am also complete now with PER and Ethics module. What fees do I need to pay? Do I need to pay affiliate subscription fee, one-off membership admission fee, and member subscription fee all at once this year?

Yeah I am also confused on this as well. It takes a while to get membership (minimum of 3 weeks I think). This is because after you apply for membership, the ACCA council will need to meet and review your application. The council sits once a month. In rare situations, they may also call for an audit of the application.
I am not sure of when to pay for the fees. it makes no sense to me, paying affiliate fee/member fee in October when a new one will be paid in December/JanuaryOctober 30, 2020 at 10:07 am #593516See here https://www.accaglobal.com/gb/en/student/getting-started/dates-and-fees.html
“Your first annual affiliate OR member payment needs to be made by 1 January following the date on which you received your final exam results.”
So the annual fee to be paid in January will depend on whether you are at that time an affiliate or member.
“Affiliates are required to pay an administration fee for admission to membership, once they become a member, which is totally separate from the affiliate subscription fee.”
So it makes sense to pay in 2020 for admission to membership and annual membership fee for 2021.

January 25, 2022 at 6:36 am #647403Dear Tutor,
Recently I’ve become an affiliate and applied for membership since all other requirements were already met by me. It was written there that ACCA will reply to my application within 3 days, however more than 1 week passed since then.
Could you please inform me what might be the reason for delay?Thank you in advance.
January 25, 2022 at 7:22 am #647405No idea – maybe they would reply in 3 days if more information was required?
See HERE https://www.accaglobal.com/us/en/help/transfer.html
How long will it take to process my application?
You will be transferred to membership approximately 12 working days after we receive confirmation of your acceptance – subject to the next available membership committee meeting.
Membership applications are normally processed within four weeks of receipt. We will contact you during this period should we require any further information.January 25, 2022 at 7:33 am #647406Thank you
