Dear Sir,
What are the accounting treatments related to production of films or movies in, suppose that a media company invest money in making a movie then after then start selling that movie to certain distributor.
How the cost of producing the movie can be treated in the SFP, and how the revenue is recognized?Kindly provide me with full explanation of all the possible accounting treatment?
