    I started my p2 Early this month(March) and everytime i attend class i feel so lost. Is there anything you could advise me to do to try and be in unison with everyone else? We are still on Complex group structures. Help!

    I have always said that P2 is a monster! What to do? Read and try to get on top of the course notes and the (relatively) simple examples from within those notes. The notes are the basis for the video recordings on this site so the best approach is to watch the recordings whilst having the notes available in front of you

    Go over those recordings / notes over and over until you are totally happy with the concepts involved.

    Remember too that consolidation is only 35% of the paper so don’t forget to get stuck into IAS / IFRS early

    @samanthaemberton
    : If you are feeling lost with the complex groups go back to the F7 lectures for a refresher. Also note the books that you use; Kaplan does set out some things different from Bpp and Mike for e.g. Kaplan and some lecturers uses an equity table while Mike and Bpp don’t. It doesn’t change the basic concept but it does affect how you may proceed with the other workings. find a method that works for you.

    That’s all you can do! But you could very well find that that is enough 🙂
