    Hi, I failed P7 45%!! Last time I scored 48.

Please advise what must I do? This is my last exam and I am struggling big time.

    Any suggestions?

    Regards

What to do … have you read my article on exam technique for P7 – P7 home page, technical articles, scroll down to near the bottom of the page and click on the examination technique article

There are two other articles by members of the P4 marking team that say effectively the same as my article – but read those also anyway

And now, with effect from tomorrow, read the questions and answers from a revision kit / exam kit from a reputable publisher. Cover to cover, just read, don’t try to learn. Read, read and read question, then answer, question, then answer from start to finish in the revision kit

You should be able to get through from start to finish in just a few evenings. When you’ve finished, do it again and then, when you’ve finished a second read through, do it again

Keep on doing that until the middle of next month – say around the 20th and then post again for the next and final piece of guidance

Meanwhile, get reading. Whenever you have a half hour spare, read. Do you have a television? Lock it in a dark room and give the key to your parents, not to be returned until after the March exam session

    Read, again and again
