I have recently accessed this site and would like to know if these lecture notes will be useful for December 2010 exam. I am planning to do my first exam at that time so I am kindly asking for your advice on these notes.
Secondly, do I need a textbook, kit along with these notes when I am studing?

These notes should be relevant to Dec 2010. You certainly need a book of questions and answers such as BPP’s Revision Kit.
I would see how you get on without a textbook at the start. It’s not that a textbook isn’t of use, but it’s only of use if you actually find time to study it.
