Cant believe i was the one writing in the examination hall. auditing hasnt been my favourite,but this paper was easy. opentuition video was very helpful.thanks alot.

This was a fair paper. Very passable once you did the work. Ran out of time even though I tried to answer the questions sticking to time limits. Hoping for the best.

The F8 paper was fairly ok. Q1 was lengthy and I made a mess of part (a) 12 marks I explained about control activities – SACCAMAP for “test of controls” instead of Enquiry, Observation, Review, Inspection and Testing “ROTIE” – accronym I use. I did not get to attempt Q3. I am doomed I miss even the border line on passing. Q4 and Q5 were Ok. To all who maybe gloomy now, cheer up!!! Hey we still have another chance to put up a fight with this “BULL” Dec2011.

This paper was a good paper in comparison to the Decenber paper. While studying I reviewed December paper and it seemed long as hell. This paper was far better but still was a lot of writing.

Question 1 was a little intimidating because it required so much writing spent 1 hr. just answering this question. The other questions I had not much problems with only was a ton of writing trying to make answers as clear as possible. only thing with this exam was the point allocation; some questions required more writing than the points seemed to indicate in order to produce a clear answer.

Answered all questions so hopefully it’s a pass, have to wait for results.

Heyyy ,vjsharksn …i think da one abt audit evidence is right…they were asking for Analytical pros,observation,reporformance,inspection and all that….
i didnt knw abt narrative notes and all that ..and i ran out of time. 🙁

i found this attempt’s paper quite easy maybe because that I managed to go through F8 BPP study text on exam day in 2 and half hour. This revision helped me a lot in exam. Now I realise that Audit is nothing but memorisation of study text, if you have memorised/read study text two three times then linking it to scenario is not a difficult thing.

I hope to get good pass this time and wish you all best of luck and may everybody get good pass this time.

I wrote everything that was right (in my opinion). I have some SERIOUS conflicts with the examiner’s thoughts though :P.

This was my second sitting for this exam – I thought I did really well last December but came out with 40%.

I answered everything this time around but just hope I get 50%

Reading through everyones notes I may of misunderstood a few questions especially the one about external confirmation – it asked us to list and example other ways of confirming the evidence.

I took this as Review, Verify, Written, Oral methods – I think I have messed this question up.

it was ok….q3 was a tough one but on the other hand q4 was a piece of cake….1,2 and 5 went ok ALHAMDULILLAH overall ppr went gud hope to gain gud marks INSHALLAH
