Hi everyone,
I just wanted to know that if F7 can be done on self study or need to follow the courses.
Those who have already passed F7,please advise on this topic.
Many thanks.
July 9, 2012 at 1:51 pm #101866hi jeyvin,
F7 can be done on self study. (I have done all of my exams self study to date).
I am awaiting results for F7 & F8.Print off the Opentuition study text and work through the online lectures that accompany it – Mike Little (lecturer) is great and explains things in a straightforward way that helps you remember.
I also use Kaplan study text for further reading as this seems (for me) to be more user friendly, however I did use BPP for F6.
Best of luck 🙂July 10, 2012 at 2:08 pm #101867In my opinion, F7 can be self studied. If you need details explanation on IAS, you can try to use GTG materials, their explanation are quite clear.
For consolidated financial statements, I preferred the method used by Kaplan. Faster and less likely to make mistakes.
