Dear Mike,
Unfortunately I failed my exam in March with 48 points.
I will be retaking in September.
Please advice me of any changes that I should be aware of, such as new topics etc?
Many thanks
June 21, 2016 at 12:25 pm #323714There’s a new exam structure for starters!
Here’s a link
https://www.accaglobal.com/content/dam/acca/global/PDF-students/acca/f7/specimen/F7-specimen-s16.pdf
New within the syllabus is:
disposal of subsidiaries (chapter 10 in the course notes)
the Effects of Changes in Foreign Exchange Rates (chapter 30 in the course notes) and
IFRS 15 Revenue from contracts with customers (chapter 24 in the course notes)(I can’t remember if this was in the notes for June 2016)
Post again if there is anything you’re struggling with

June 28, 2016 at 4:35 pm #324326Thanks Mike,
The new structure will be for all F papers going forward?
Why do you think they have introduced this?
Do you think it may make the exam more time pressured etc?
Any advice on how we might take tackle this new exam structure?
Many thanks
June 28, 2016 at 6:50 pm #324340How to tackle – get in loads of practice with mcqs, with consolidations, with preparation of financial statements for a single company questions
Practice, practice, practice
And post on this site when you get stuck
