    Hello,

I was planning on sitting the F6 (Cyprus-Tax) in December 2018. However, due to unforeseen circumstances I was unable to attend the exam and have been marked as Absent.

My initial intention was to sit the F6 (CY-Tax) in the <March Phase>, but apparently Cyprus’ version of F6 can only be examined in the <June & December Phase>

Therefore, I have decided to change my initial plans slightly, and sit the F6 (UK-Tax) in March 2019 and F6 (Cyprus Tax) in June 2019.

Does anyone know which exam will be taken into consideration by Oxford Brookes/ACCA when calculating my overall grade?

Thank you for your help on this matter.

    Kind Regards,

    Yiannis

Not sure why you would sit both or if it is even possible to sit both. If you pass UK exam in March, TX will no longer be an option for exam entry. So whichever exam you pass first would be the mark recorded for OBU.

Note that most if not all variant tax exams are only available in June/Dec – also that these are paper-based, not CBE.

Thank you for your prompt reply.

To be honest the reason I want to do both exams, is that I am still quite unsure of whether I want to stay in Cyprus and find an accounting job here or go back to the UK.
