Can anyone please let me know if I could still use the F5 textbook (2015) if I want to sit the exam in June 17?

    Yes – it is OK.

However if you are watching my free lectures then you do not really need the Study Text because the lectures are a complete free course and cover everything needed to be able to pass the exam well.

Much more important is to have a Revision Kit because they contain lots of exam standard questions to practice on, and practice is absolutely vital.
You must use a current edition of the Revision Kit (because of the change in the format of the exam).

    What do you mean ‘download’?

Unless you bought it directly from the publisher, then downloading copyright material is both illegal and unethical (which is something that would be astonishing for someone aspiring to qualify as an accountant to do!!!)

The book is too old anyway – there have been syllabus changes.

If you are watching my free lectures then you do not really need a study text – the lectures are a complete free course for Paper F5 and cover everything needed to be able to pass the exam well.
What you must buy (not download) is a current edition of a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers. They contain lots of exam standard questions to practice on, and practice is absolutely vital if you are to pass the exam.
