I am working and residing in Mauritius. I am wondering whether to choose the England or global variant. All learning providers over here are tutoring only the England variant however on acca website no information has been given that those choosing to work in Mauritius should take the England variant of the exam.

If you have even the slightest thoughts of emigrating to the UK in the future and practicing as an accountant / auditor, you will need to have passed the English variant of the ACCA’s law paper

If that is furthest from your ambitions, then global variant is fine

Personally I would be happy to elect to take the English version – 2 reasons …

    1 I’m English! and

2 I find the English variant much more fun! Yes, FUN!

But clearly the choice is yours but, whichever you opt for, I’m here to assist whenever you hit a brick wall

    OK?
