Hi. I will be sitting for F3 CBE in 2 weeks. Can you give me some tips and also what chapters can I get in section B.
September 4, 2015 at 8:54 am #269799For Section A, questions are asked from everything in the syllabus. I assume that you have studied all the topics and therefore what is important is to practice under time pressure – it is when you are rushing in the exam that you are most likely to misread questions and make silly mistakes.
Don’t waste time doing neat workings – nobody will look at the workings, only the final answer counts.
You can do the questions in any order, so jump over any questions that look too long or you difficult. You can come back to them later when you have done the easier ones (remember you are after 50%).
If you don’t remember something or you don’t understand the question then guess the answer – you have a 1 in 4 chance of guessing the correct answer.
When time is running out, then go back and guess the answer for every question that still remains – you don’t lose marks if you guess wrongly, but obviously you get the marks if you guess correctly 🙂
Keep trying our online mock exam. The section A questions are drawn at random by the computer from a bank of questions and so you are likely to get different questions when you attempt the exam again.
For Section B, you can find what the examiner says will be tested on the following page:
