Was quite ok.. But lack of time!! 2 hours has been running short!!
I needed 15 mins more!!!
Theory more than practical question…
many questions on standard costing!!!

I found it pretty hard, with less calculation that I was expected. All the new topics like IR and ROI were present…It was pretty hard to do everything in 2 hours. Now wait and see and wish that a bit of luck was on my side 🙂

It was ok but I couldn’t do some of them ether… I should practice more the IR and ROI parts. Les calculations then I thought it will be.
tinotendah , actually there was 2 question on high and low, one was the formula you have to choose, and the other with 60% and 100% of 10000 production. you had to use high and low method to find the 80%.
hope u pass it though 🙂wow! enjoyed the worded question did not do some good with the structured ones. I
found the variance questions hard. But it seems like it was just me. I just hope I pass. good luck to all.- Topics: 0

Seriously, it had high low, it was tricky i got some i struggled with others, just not enough time i prayed really hard for it. Good Luck!! Everyone

@Evanoum DAMN!!! I was so tired i could not pick that High low was suppose to be used 🙁 Anyways hope the answer i chose was correct.

We need at least 3 hours. Is it so difficult to have one more hour?! Please! Anyway I would like to thank free tuition for lectures and hope they update with the new topics, they will give us a big help!

The exam was OK…..however time was a challenge as the questions require in-depth thought and application. Variances and ROI was the foundation for this paper,,hope I pass it though!!!

it was OK with most of the questions on standard costing, budget, variance, and also performance management. but the 2 hours is really short. all the same, i did my best and believe i will make it.

The exam in general was not what we expected. I think the examiner need to do a rethink.
Im so disappointed that i could not pick up the high-low questions.:( just crossing my fingerz nd hoping for the best.

it was too bad for me i almost gave up….i know am goin to resit in december so sad
Really fed up about exam today, so many of the “bankers” questions didnt come up, missed the high/low ???? Ha after my educated guesses I felt like I was in Paddy Power trying to pick the lotto numbers…………but not to worry its a learning curve, I now know not to go by past papers style !!!

4.3% says easy against 40.83 % saying hard…
Am glad that my opinion is shared by most student!!
I had nightmares about the paper last night… I’ve been practicing sooo many questions, and having logical theory questions, which should have been in F5, is very disturbing..
Anyway, wat is gone is gone, good luck to all students, hope a little bit of luck be on our side, and 50 marks is not too much asked for all these efforts..What question required the use of high-low method? I didnt notice any questions like that. Please let me know cos i’m so shocked seeing comments on it.

Xam o my fellow 2011 dec sitn students had 2 du the paper for a 3rd tym……..a js hope it daen happen 2 me 2…….the paper was A BIG HEADACHE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
