Does anyone know whether I can get any exempetions for the CIMA with a Management Degree from University of York? I have used their search and can only find my uni with BS business and management. They did mention at the bottom that I can contact to ask if my qualification isn’t listed. But they haven’t responded and it’s already been 5 working days

When I first applied I have been offered the Masters Gateway which included 11 exemptions, having left the case study of the Management level and the whole Strategic level.
Eventually when I was about to wire the money they told me I couldn’t have the Masters Gateway with the Masters Degree(in finance) and that they thought I had an MBA instead (I gave em all the paperwork and told em clearly that I had a masters degree not an MBA).
Anyway, what degree/certification have you guys been asked to have this Professional Gateway exam or the Masters Gateway(as they sound the same to me)?
Many thanks.
Have a good day.
[ you find my post up, they will probably promise you the masters gateway then will give you just the certificate exemption, so 4 exams.
what is really frustrating is that all the things covered for the first 3 levels you already studied them at Uni, and this tell you how it’s just about business and not fairness or give you a proper “exemption” which should be a knowledge you acquired and you actually have a paper that declares it – the bachelor or masters degree – ] - AuthorPosts
