Am I able to begin writing the skills papers before completing the knowledge level?

    See here – https://www.accaglobal.com/gb/en/student/exam-entry-and-administration/enter-an-exam/exam-progression-rules.html

Answer is yes but my advice would be to “clear” the first four exams (FA/MA/BT/LW) which are all 2-hours and have no “writing” (constructed response) section.

    Hi,
The issue is I’m currently doing a degree which gives me exemptions from the knowledge level and three if the skills level papers. But I will omly be able to claim the exemptions next year once I finish the degree. So is it possible to do the remaining skills level exams now? My ACCA account says that I have to complete the knowledge level examinations before I can do the skills exams. Please advise me on this.
    Thank you

    Start here https://www.accaglobal.com/an/en/student/getting-started/exemptions.html
    Click “Get exam exemptions guidance”.
Select “I want to send it by ACCA” (not the other option as you must already be registered with ACCA if you have myACCA account)
Answer the questions and this it what it tells you:

“If you have part-completed a qualification, you may still be able to claim some exemptions depending on the level of the qualification and how much of the qualification you have completed.
You can submit your enquiry by email. But first you need to get your documents ready to send to us.”

So you need to claim exemption from the foundation exams – then you will be able to enter for skills exams). If this is in not enough information please contact ACCA directly.
