Sir,
When I practice and review my answers comparing them to the examiners answers.
Some seem similar and some seem totally different.
Ny points are reasonable and related to what the information is giving me.
My fear is that someone told me our answers are meant to be 80% alike with the examiners own.
Do you think that points can be approved by the examiner or which are not in the marking guide and if so, what do you think the limitation is?
Thank you.
First, examiners’ answers are much longer and more detailed than anyone could ever achieve in an exam. That itself will create differences.
I would also say that I think some model answers are not very good and occasionally do not seem to accurately reflect question requirements.
You would certainly obtain marks for valid points you make even if these were not in the model answer.
In the exam you will have to assimilate the information and address question requirements as well as you can. Have confidence that you are doing this well and write your answer as fully and as whole-heartedly as you can.
Thank you very much for this sir. This has given me more confidence. I will key into this.
