2,The following statements set out to expit is necessary to distinguish between production and non-production costs. Are they true or false?

To facilitate the valuation of inventory
    To establish period costs
The question is do we use to establish period cost by distinguishing between production or non production cost or we do that in fixed or variable cost

For period costs we do not need to distinguish between production and non-production costs, but we do need to distinguish between gxed and variable costs.
